Is the leadership training arm of THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND ADVANCEMENT INITIATIVE, a Non-Governmental Organization. With headquarter in Lagos the centre of Excellence. We started our work in 2004.

We have the vision of empowering the youths so that they will be focused, well articulated and resourceful in meeting the millennium development goal with the bulk of the Nigerian population below the age of 35 years, the youths are one of the greatest assets and potentially the greatest investment that any nation can have for development.

IYEAAI had a target of raising more than 10,000 dynamic young leaders by 2020, and the youth can enjoy the right of dignified living by being politically, economically, intellectually and socially empowered.

AIMS OF THE COURSES:

The aims of the Courses is to equip individuals who are interested in working in humanitarian organizations, agencies and NGOs to have a full knowledge of International Humanitarian Law and Law of Armed Conflict based on the principle of humanity and also to know the principle of Intervention and Management of humanitarian Relief Operation which is a prerequisite for working in international Humanitarian Agencies and UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATIONS.

BENEFITS OF THE COURSES:

-The participants after the completion of the Courses and passing the Examinations will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by the United Nations Institute of Training and Research.
